Provenance

User Interface Design
Provenance uses the decentralised system, blockchain, to track products through the supply chain. Using blockchain allows users to transfer trusted information and certifications about materials, creating a transparent supply chain with demonstrable authenticity and standards.
Designed to make data on supply chains more easily accessible from raw material to consumers and therefor more trusted, there is a great deal of importance placed on the way the data is presented. Provenance is always looking at different ways that supply chains could be mapped and presented in order to create the best customer experience. I spent some time with the brand modifying user interface designs for both desktop and mobile devices.

Getting Started Guide
After the launch of the Provenance App the team found that many users would benefit from a ‘Getting Started Guide’. Not only would this save time by guiding users through the app themselves, but also allow the brand to demonstrate the quality of content they wanted to maintain.
As a tech based company, using multiple stills to demonstrate the process seemed out dated. I filmed the app in use, animating the touchpoints and then showing it within the latest version of the iPhone. This gave a clear intuitive demonstration of how the software could be used easily to promote a brand and its manufacturing processes, adding quality and value to its products.
